Angel Groups

Definition of Angel Groups

Angel Groups are organizations that bring angel investors together and make it easier for start-up companies to secure angel investment funding.

Some angel groups meet to see investment presentations made by startups, while others simply email private placement memorandums to each other and never meet face-to-face. Most big cities have at least one angel group. In smaller cities, it's typical not to have any angel groups.
