The Socket SDIO Scan Card 3E is perfect for the Home and Home Office user's occasional light-duty scanning needs (this product is not intended for use outdoors) .It easily plugs into the SDIO Card slot of your handheld. Based on Linear CMOS Imaging technology from Symbol Technologies, the scan card scans most of the popular linear bar code symbologies including Code 128, Code 39, UPC/EAN, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 93, Codebar, D2 of 5, MSI/Plessey, Code 11 and Web Code. The SDIO In-Hand Scan Card comes bundled with SocketScan keyboard emulation software for Windows that converts scanned bar code characters into virtual keystrokes so that Windows's applications treat the characters as though they were typed on a keyboard. The software enables the creation of prefixes and suffixes such as tab or carriage return further eliminating keystrokes in the data collection process. This product is not designed to operate in landscape mode in Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.
