Delaware is one of 45 states that have enacted minimum wage laws. The minimum wage in Delaware is 50 cents more than the current Federal minimum wage rate of $7.25.
Previously, the Delaware minimum wage was $7.25, matching the Federal minimum wage, but it increased 50 cents to $7.75 on June 1, 2014. On June 1, 2015, it will be raised 50 cents to $8.25 per hour, or $1.00 more than the current federal minimum wage.
