Hawaii is one of 45 states that have enacted minimum wage laws. The minimum wage in Hawaii is equal to the current Federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 and has been since 2007.
However, in May 2014, Hawaii decided to raise its minimum wage to $10.10 by 2018. There will be a 50 cent boost in 2015, and then a 75 cent jump in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
