Starting an Anti-Aging Business

Interview with Anti-Aging Entrepreneur David Tippie

Oh, to be young again. David and Stephanie Tippie are tapping the fountain of youth for their many clients. If you are interested in starting an anti-aging business, you'll enjoy hearing about their entrepreneurial adventure.

David Tippie is a co-founder of the Anti Aging Clinic Association, along with his wife Stephanie.
(article continues below)

We decided to ask David to share his experiences in starting an anti-aging business.

David, tell us about your current business. What are you doing exactly?

I started the Anti Aging Clinic Association in 2000 and my wife joined me in 2005.

The roots of the business go way back from my having a PSA test of over 19. This was a major turning point in my life that separated me from the medical sickness industry and pushed me into the natural alternative wellness industry.

I have developed many programs of improved health and have developed the non-surgical face-lift treatment.

Along with my wife Stephanie, we have developed professional grade skincare products designed for varying skin types that work synergistically with my face rejuvenation treatments. All were designed around a results oriented applications.

We leveraged our personal funds to expand the company in December, 2009 in Tamarac, Florida, and we are going strong.

The Anti-Aging Clinic centers its strategy on the premise that the company resonates with the consumer because it offers holistic products and a comprehensive natural program for the preservation and enhancement of health, age intervention, and beauty. We ask them the major question and that is what good is wealth without your health. People spend their health to accumulate wealth, then spend their wealth to regain their health; just listen to the TV news or read the papers; wealthy people who have chosen the medical sickness industry pharmaceutical route, dead at a very young age. We empower our clientele to "Age Younger" by teaching them to perform daily "housekeeping" on their body, thus building a stronger immune system. Without good health, you cannot achieve true beauty.

What were you doing before this, and is this your first business?

I was a general contractor. Stephanie was an international sales executive for major medical manufacturers.

Who are your main competitors? How do you compete against them?

The Anti-Aging Clinic Assoc. Inc. is the most researched and well thought out wellness and beauty institute the world has ever been introduced to that is so unique it has an unfair advantage over the competition. p>

The Anti-Aging Clinic outshines these industry participants because we hold the most knowledge of our industry and provide the most comprehensive and unique holistic program for wellness and age intervention in the world. This is perhaps the main way the company distinguishes itself from competition in our industry. We aim to differentiate ourselves in this market by delivering more knowledge, results, and value to our target customers in an instilled patentable teamwork approach absent from any competition.

How has your experience in running the business been different from what you expected?

My vision was always to empower people to transform their health and "Age Younger." We have succeeded in achieving this goal and now we are looking to expand our clinics.

Is there anything you wish you had done differently?

We should have begun an internet marketing campaign to bring more awareness to others outside of the South Florida area.

What have you done that has been very effective in helping to grow the business?

This is a word of mouth business; for instance, our clients who have contracted H1N1, who come to us and elect to take our Rejuvenis OSH Silver and quickly rid their body of the virus, tell hundreds if not thousands about their satisfied experiences. Our dedication to our clientele has been the most effective tool in growing the business.

What advice would you give to somebody else who wanted to start a similar business?

Make sure that you have passion for what you do and research it until you are an expert in the field. Instill trust in your clients. Do not become a "me to" clinic, be a can do clinic.

That's great advice for starting an anti-aging clinic or any business for that matter. David, thanks so much for sharing your entrepreneurial experience with us, and good luck in growing your business.
