Along with announcing the opening of three new franchises in Utah, Tennessee and Ohio, FastSigns plans to pursue further franchising options in Ohio.

FastSigns, a leading retailer of signs and graphics, announced February 23 that it has signed three new franchises, which will open in the first half of 2010.

Three New Franchise Branches

The stores will be in Hendersonville, Tennessee, St. George, Utah and Lima, Ohio. The company began an initiative in 2009 to rapidly expand the chain by purchasing independent shops and developing new centers.

FastSigns is especially strong franchising option for newcomers to sign sales as all stores have access to marketing, training and business operations assistance to ensure success.

"The current economic climate presents a great growth opportunity for FastSigns, as graphics and signage are key components of any business to attract customers and establish brand identity," said Brian Wieters, assistant vice president of franchise development for FastSigns. "We are excited to start the year off with these new locations and look forward to continuing our growth throughout 2010."

People considering purchasing a franchise in Ohio received encouragement recently when Huntington Bank, the largest small business lender in Ohio, announced an initiative to help the state's small business community with $360 million in loans over the next three years.
