Network Solutions online contest offers SMBs prizes for sharing tips through social media.
It may be good news for small business owners that they can find helpful last-minute marketing advice and a chance to win prizes with the click of a mouse. Network Solutions is hosting a Twelve Days of Business Tips Sweepstakes through social media.
The holiday contest takes place now through Christmas day and is open to SMB owners willing to share their business savvy. By posting tips on the Network Solution blog page, Facebook page, or Twitter, SMBs are eligible to win prizes including $200 gift cards, professionally designed websites, and more.
Prizes will be awarded daily, and entrepreneurs can enter unlimited original tips per day.
The Network Solutions online contest represents a potential trend with new benefits for SMBs who use social media. Recently, Verizon's Better Way Challenge also offered prizes to SMB owners who shared advice through social media.
This may prove a new reason for SMBs to increase their use of social media. Vertical Response reports that social media is proving its worth as a low-cost marketing strategy for small businesses in these economic times with 96.2 percent of SMB owners saying they will be using internet marketing in 2010.
