Social networking sites says it hopes to show women in small business that they're not 'in it alone.'

Social networking appears to be on the tips of everyone's tongues these days but instead of just letting people stay in touch with friends across the globe, one new site is set to help women who own small businesses.

Entrepreneur Marketing Solutions

The website WomeninJourney.com was created based on the inspirational book series of the same name and says it will help women in the small business world market and exchange services with other women.

According to the company, the site is designed to encourage female business owners to help each other by allowing one small business to help another in need. The businesses would then "pay it forward," which would be good news for small businesses on the site.

The site says part of its goal is to show women they're not "in it alone."

"Because this site was created by women, especially for women, our vision goes beyond inspiring established women in business, but to also encourage those who are afraid of taking a leap of faith to realize the full potential of their dreams," says the website.
