Avaya Introduces New Office Product For Small Business

IP Office Release 6.1 will help entrepreneurs work more efficiently

One of the leaders in small business technology recently unveiled a brand-new tool for small businesses to have at their disposal.

Entrepreneur Technology Power

Avaya introduced IP Office Release 6.1 in order to improve customer service capabilities, worker productivity and the usability of the product. The company estimates that the new program will save entrepreneurs 25 percent when compared to similar products available to them. The company points to the easy installation system and Linux-based operating system as key reasons why it has a leg up on the competition.

"Our vision is to bring all of the powerful collaboration capabilities of big business to the SME community - without the complexity," said Anthony Bartolo, general manager of small business communications at Avaya. "With the latest release of Avaya IP Office, we are advancing on this vision, while introducing new levels of savings driven through advanced communications."

Avaya made other news for small business after in named it its small business partners of the year. Among the companies listed were All Business Communications, based in Massachusetts, and CenturyLink, based in Louisiana.
