Event for entrepreneurs will take place in Chicago

Small business owners in Chicago will soon be getting the chance to learn more about the world of advertising through email, thanks to one company's recent announcement.

Entrepreneur Networking and Technology

Constant Contact said in a statement that it would be participating in Crain's Small Business Week and offering a free seminar at the event entitled the Power of Email Marketing. The seminar aims to give entrepreneurs advice on the best ways that they can use email to further their business goals. Experts will instruct business owners on how email can be used to create a special relationship with customers.

"Industry statistics show that small businesses represent the majority of U.S. employers, but only 50 percent of them survive beyond five years," said Steve Robinson, regional development director of Constant Contact. "Armed with the right tools and information, small businesses can increase their success rate. Our free seminar is specifically designed to arm time-strapped small business owners with proven tips to help them find their winning formula for success."

Constant Contact made other technology news for small business when it was announced that the company would be hosting a social media webinar. The online conference will feature social media expert Brian Solis giving advice on how to use websites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to make profit.
