    A good alternative to postage meters is internet postage. Companies like Stamps.com allow you to print postage from your computer using an integrated USB scale and your existing printer as opposed to leasing expensive postal meter equipment.

    Internet postage is a great solution for low-volume mailing, high volume shippers, and everything in between.

    Yeah, there are a few services for printing postage online. Endicia is another company, and Pitney Bowes has pbSmartPostage, so they're the most well-rounded for mailing solutions, I believe.
