Employee to Entrepreneur Transitions

Submit Your Story for Publication

If you have lost a job or quit a job recently AND you are now planning on becoming an entrepreneur, we would like to interview you.

If you are transitioning from being an employee to entrepreneur, you are going through an experience that many others are contemplating.

You can assist us by sharing your experience.

In other words, we would LOVE to interview you about how it's going. If you've already gone through that transition and have made it over to the other side, we'd like to hear from you as well.

The thing is we are very resource-constrained. Rather than conduct a traditional interview with you, we would ask that you conduct a self-interview.

Simply download one of the questionnaires below and fill in the blanks by answering the questions.

Then email it to us at articles(at)gaebler.com -- replace the (at) with @ in that email address -- and we will take it from there. Please use "Employee to Entrepreneur Interview - [Your Name Here]" as the subject for your email. It usually takes us 5 business days to get an article through final editing and posting. (Yes, we reserve the right to apply edits to your piece.)

Be sure you tell your story in a way that our site visitors will find it to be interesting and useful. Put yourself in their shoes.

Here are a few interview templates you can use:

Feel free to edit the questions as you see fit. Longer answers are better than short terse answers. Please be as descriptive as possible. If you like, you can also add and answer your own interview questions. At the end of the day, all we want is a good and informative read.

Thanks tons for helping us out on this. We'll send you a link to your story once it is live on our site.
