Company Background Information
Overview
Good Tape was built together with award-winning journalists. Our mission is to turn spoken information into reliable, usable text. We don't just transcribe, Good Tape transforms how people work with audio and transcription. For years, we lived through the painful reality of manual transcription: hours spent hunched over recordings in newsrooms, media centers, and editorial offices, rewinding the same ten seconds of tape until our patience wore thin. We wanted to focus on the real work: reporting, writing, analyzing and creating.
