Overview
Pathological proteins such as ß-amyloid, tau and a-synuclein accumulate in neurodegenerative diseases. As these proteins build up they disrupt normal neurophysiology causing the symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
