Ad-free video hosting has been dominated by one player for years, who has been slowly declining in service while increasing prices. Livid is run by industry veterans hailing from StreamYard - a successful web based streaming platform, which literally had a duck for a logo, as it was the friendliest creature we could think of. We were super passionate about StreamYard and in return, StreamYard's users were passionate about us.
