Overview
After being employed at Lemon Way Africa for the launch of a mobile payment solution in Mali and Burkina Faso, Charles Talbot and Mathias Léopoldie found in 2018 : Julaya (« trade » in bambara language). In October 2018, they launched a mobile money application to answer to a need they met in the cash payment through mobile money : it's complicated and expensive for traders and small and medium sized companies to transfer or accept payments from one mobile money operator to an other. Julaya made it possible in Ivory Coast where the app is operationnal.
