Overview
The inspiration for establishing Flora came from a deeply personal experience--my cousin developed depression during her pregnancy and tragically passed away after giving birth to her second child. Witnessing her sorrow and struggles firsthand left a profound impact on me. I felt an overwhelming urge to do something to prevent such tragedies and began delving into research. What I discovered was staggering: women face immense challenges not only during the prenatal and postpartum stages but across all life stages, and often lack awareness of how to address these issues. Data revealed that many of these struggles could be alleviated or even prevented with simple measures and proper support. I made a vow to free women from unnecessary suffering and to empower them with solutions and knowledge. Fueled by this passion, I decided to establish Flora as a FemTech startup dedicated to making this vision a reality.
