Franchise Program Gives Back To Local Communities

Window Genie franchise targets local communities in Windows 4 Wishes, a campaign designed to promote engagement and giving back at the grassroots level.
Giving back is an important part of owning a business. But in franchise organizations, opportunities to give back are sometimes overlooked, especially when national franchisors are too far removed from the communities where the franchise operates.
Since January, the Window Genie franchise has been taking the concept of giving back to a new level with "Windows 4 Wishes" -- a franchise-wide initiative designed to encourage franchisees to give back to their local communities in several important ways.
Window Genie's "Windows 4 Wishes" program focuses on creating a giving company culture by encouraging franchisees across the nation to give back in four possible ways:
- Service -- free Window Genie services like window cleaning, tinting or pressure washing to charitable organization(s) in the local community
- Donations -- donations of money or merchandise to the franchisee's charity of choice.
- Advertising -- marketing or public endorsements for the name and mission of charitable organizations
- Volunteering -- direct involvement by the franchisee and his/her employees in local charitable activities
Named the 41st fastest growing franchise system in the U.S. by Entrepreneur magazine, Window Genie has made community service as a pillar of their franchising philosophy.
When the program launched, Window Genie founder and CEO, Richard Nonelle, said, "I am so excited to roll out this new program and I anticipate tremendous participation and excitement from all Window Genie partners. This initiative will further the Window Genie culture that focuses on community citizenship, something we have always stood for."
To date, more than 15 Window Genie franchisees have participated in the program, giving back through each of the four ways suggested by "Windows 4 Wishes". The organizations that have been helped by the program include charities that serve the homeless, wounded soldiers, victims of abuse, the elderly and children.
With more than 100 franchisees across the nation, Window Genie hopes to eventually have 100% franchisee participation and increased involvement at the national level, ensuring that the franchise is giving back in every community where Window Genie has a market presence.
