AT&T and Regus team up to provide workspace solutions to SMBs.

In a period where vacant office buildings haunt city streets, it may come as good news for small business owners that AT&T and Regus are teaming up to provide work space solutions for SMBs.

Entrepreneur Business Trend Up

AT&T announced a new partnership with The Regus Group, a provider of virtual office solutions, that will provide AT&T small business customers with affordable, convenient and flexible office space. Together, the groups will provide administrative, communications, printing, and technology services for SMBs.

Customer benefits include six months complimentary membership in Regus' Businessworld Gold program that provides users with access to more than 1,000 internet-equipped Regus business lounges in cities worldwide - a nice alterative to full-time office space.

"The freedom to conduct business anywhere is increasingly a requirement of our customers," says Alicia Dietsch, vice president of marketing communications at AT&T. The Regus alliance will enable At&T to give customers this freedom.

Alternatives to full-time office space, like the Businessworld Gold lounges, are a major asset in the current economy. Atlantic Business News reports that if the market improved so that 500,000 square feet of office space was being filled quarterly, it would take over twelve years to fill all the empty space.
