SBA Organizes Trade Conference For Small Business

Meeting to assist entrepreneurs with exporting will be held in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The Westin Hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey, will soon play host to a U.S. Small Business Administration conference focused on helping small business owners get into the exporting game.

Entrepreneur Economic Factors

The Export Matchmaker Trade Fair & Conference is part of the president's National Export Initiative. Its organizers hope that when it convenes on September 20, 2010, it will be able to help small business owners in the Garden State learn about the how to export the products they manufacture.

Small businesses will be able to meet with export management companies, export trading companies, brokers and agents.

&"One of President Obama's goals stated in the National Export Initiative is to double U.S. exports in five years,&" said SBA Administrator Karen Mills. &"Tapping the export potential of more small businesses through events like this will get us closer to that goal.&"

Others have been hooking up with the SBA to help small business in recent months. Sam's Club announced that it would be giving customers the opportunity to get SBA-backed loans at many of its locations around the country in the latest lending news for small business.
