New Online Resource Provides SMBS Owners With Education And Insight

Most small business owners can benefit from further guidance and mentoring in various aspects of the business such as finance and marketing.
FinanceCoach.me, an online service designed to help small business owners better understand, analyze and manage their financial information, recently announced it will launch a nationwide scholarship contest to create awareness for the site. The site was originally created by two entrepreneurs who realized small business owners typically do not have strong financial knowledge and few options for insight and mentorship to help them succeed.
While most financial professionals offer small businesses products or services to help them manage their books, the website helps owners identify growth opportunities, provides valuable financial information and offers reports, analytics, and personalized coaching to help companies achieve their goals. The company believes equipping owners with financial insight and guidance can improve efficiency, profits and overall success.
Similarly, Score.org, a nonprofit organization that provides small businesses with mentoring options, recently announced SCORE Palooza will be held later this month. The event will enable small business owners to network with 13,000 volunteer mentors and other owners through educational workshops, keynote speeches and peer-to-peer networking activities.
The event will also include social media training and four informative break-out sessions that cover how to refocus marketing efforts, educate female owners in federal contracting and protect business information and data from security breaches.
