Overview
With the Gardia emergency call bracelet, people close to the wearer are able to call for help anywhere in Europe--either by manually pressing a button or through automatic fall detection--and establish a voice connection with emergency contacts. If the emergency call is not canceled by repeatedly pressing the emergency button, Gardia automatically connects--thanks to Europe-wide roaming--to the best available network, determines the wearer's location, and sends out an emergency call. This call is picked up by the nearest cell tower and forwarded to the emergency contacts or to the 24/7 emergency call center. The My Gardia app enables emergency contacts to respond quickly to the call for help. The saved emergency contacts are immediately informed of the emergency, receive a notification, and can establish a voice connection with the wearer.
