YELO was born out of the frustration of our founder Dan Rubin who put his three kids in college... all at once! Realizing that access to education was expensive, discriminatory, inadequate and not accessible to everyone, he decided to launch YELO. Our mission at YELO is to provide college financing that is more equitable and better suited for students' needs. To do so, we offer an innovative funding solution for students of all backgrounds that fills the funding gap in higher education when lower-cost federal programs, scholarships and grants are not adequate.
