Altos Radar was founded in January 2023 in both Los Altos, California and Beijing, China. Our Mission is to accelerate the development and implementation of 4D Imaging Radar technology in driver-assisted and fully autonomous driving systems. The Founders are a group of passionate and talented engineers, who previously held positions at Apple, Huawei, Mozilla and Pony.ai. They are experts in autonomous driving, RF design, signal processing, compute-optimization and radar perception. Most importantly, they share the belief that extremely high-performing and low-cost radars will be the game-changer for the automotive industry in the years to come.
