Global Media Services was founded in 2003 by digital media veterans, Jennifer Sultan and Adam Cohen, both of whom are recognized as pioneers in the streaming media space via the launch of Live On Line in 1994, its subsequent sale to Digital Island in 2000 and ultimate acquisition by Cable & Wireless PLC in 2002.
