Overview

Italia Venture I focuses on investing in Italian startups. The fund makes co-investments of up to 70 per cent in Series A rounds with commitments per round ranging between �500,000 and �1.5m. The investment, which marks the first backing EIB has done in the Italian Venture Capital industry, follows previous commitments made by the Ministry of Economic Development/Invitalia, Cisco Group, the Sardinia Banking Foundation and Metec Group. The fund started investing in November 2015.
