We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing, and commercializing innovative medicines for people with serious diseases of the central nervous system (CNS). Cyclerion was founded with the goal of unlocking the full therapeutic potential of the nitric oxide-cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) signaling pathway. Nitric oxide (NO) is one of several fundamental neurotransmitters, but it has yet to be leveraged for its full therapeutic potential in the central nervous system (CNS). As such, we believe our approach to enhancing NO-cGMP signaling -- sGC stimulation -- has broad potential to treat serious diseases of the CNS. We are excited and motivated by this opportunity to bring new medicines to patients in need.
