Our mission is to prevent homelessness. Our mission is to prevent people from becoming homeless by providing rental assistance to economically vulnerable Los Angelenos who are at imminent risk of homelessness. The STEP Fund is the Prevention pillar of our latest 501c3 organization, Better Angels United, a new holistic approach to tackling the homeless epidemic in Los Angeles. We are harnessing new models of intervention, community engagement, advocacy, world-class technology, and a strong dose of pragmatism across five critical areas of need: Prevention, Sanitation, Services, Shelter and Housing.
