Written by Jay Shapiro for Gaebler Ventures

Too few leads? You need to make some noise. Here's a quick how to guide that shows you seven ways to generate leads, use one or two methods, or use them all for higher impact.

In an ideal world you'd not be bemoaning the fact that you have too few leads but that you have so many you're sending them on to the members of your down line! Is it possible to generate leads in this sort of quantity? Yes.

Fasten your seatbelts. This is a crash course in lead generation. There are seven surefire tips featured here, so if you only implemented one a week you'd be well on your way to creating significantly more leads in less than two months. If you're really eager to boost business you could implement one tip a day. That's when you'd need the seatbelt because that'd be one hell of a week! Here's goes:

1. Splash and Click!

Create splash page online. Take advantage of Pay-Per-Click ad campaigns and start sending high traffic to it. Include a facility from which you can gather visitor info like their names and email addresses. Thereafter you can make follow-up contact with these people. Do this via email. Chances are that a high percentage will end up being quality leads for your Network Marketing or MLM business.

2. Something for Nothing, or is it?

Run adverts in online newsletters and/or E-zines to promote a free report you're offering. Everyone likes something for nothing. Except that this report isn't strictly for nothing. What you request in return for supplying it is the recipient's contact details. Try out classifieds and solo adverts to establish which type brings you the best coverage for your cash.

3. Article Blogging and Bookmarks

Set up a blog and be sure that you social bookmark the blog articles. This is a really effective way to attract traffic to the blog. Social bookmarking sites like Digg and Technorati should be your fist port of call. Make sure that visitors who arrive at your blog site clearly see they have the chance to gain valuable information in return for their contact information.

4. Video Promo

Remember the splash page you created for your PPC promotion? Use it again. Promote it in video clips and upload these to media sharing and social networking sites like YouTube and Facebook. With your movie clip include a link to the splash page. And offer the visitor a chance to subscribe to your freebie newsletter.

5. Teleseminars/Webinars

Put on free teleseminars online. In your teleseminars or webinars, as they are also known, share information on moneymaking on the web. Use the seminars as a way to invite listeners to your site. Here they can access valuable info about your particular business. Make sure you continue to send them updates via email newsletters.

6. Online-Offline Promotions

If your business is an online one - promote it offline! Take out printed press adverts in local publications. If your budget will stretch to it, consider radio advertising. There are myriad ways to promote your website in the bricks and mortar world.

7. Automatic Responses

Buy co-registration leads and input them into your auto-responder. That way you have info to hand when you want to make follow up contacts. An auto responder can carry out the follow up on your behalf. So this is really the easiest tip. At least it frees you up to focus your time and energies on the other six ways to generate leads!
