Increase Sales with Fundraisers

Coming up with creative ways to expand your bottom line can sometimes be a challenge but can also be rewarding if you enlist the help of others. An excellent way to increase sales with your business is to allow organizations and charities to use your products for a fundraiser. Since groups and organizations mainly get their funds from fundraisers, they are always looking for something to sell in order to raise money. This creates a win win situation for the both of you. The advantage of this is you don't have to do a whole lot of work. Your only responsibility will be to fill the orders that come in. The organization will do all the selling and collecting of money for you.

Offer Product

Offer one of your company products to an organization, school or charity to sell as a fundraiser. The ideal product should have a mass appeal in order to ensure a high sales and profit volume. This will make it easier for you and the organization to make a good amount of money. In general, companies offer 10-20 percent of the sale of each product to the organization.

Use Special Occasions

If at all possible try to get organizations to hold their fundraisers around special occasions. Fundraisers that coincide with holidays and special occasions such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day tend to be the most successful. Any time of the year when people tend to give gifts is a excellent for holding a fundraiser.

Pre-Sale Products

Have the school pre-sale the products far enough in advance for timely delivery. This is particularly important if your sale coincides with a special occasion. Urge them to get the fundraiser started before people begin to purchase their gifts from somewhere else. You want your product buyers to receive their order in time enough to prepare it as a gift. When the product is pre-sold the hosting organization only has to forward you your percent of the money and keep their share of the profits.

Enlisting the help of an organization to increase your company sales is beneficial to you and to the selling organization. Remember that choosing a product that appeals to a lot of people will help make the most profits for the both of you. In addition, try to get your selling organization to host the fundraiser to coincide with a holiday or special occasion when gifts are given. Doing this will increase the likelihood of the fundraiser being a success.
