FranchiseGrade.com releases its list of this year's top 10 children's services franchise systems, reports that the children's services franchising sector has experienced double-digit growth since 2010.

Although fast food restaurants get most of the attention in franchising, the franchise sector is extremely diverse and includes opportunities across a broad range of industries. Many of these opportunities fall under the category of service-based businesses that specialize in meeting the needs of niche markets.

Best Children Franchises

Children's services franchising is a great example of this type of franchise opportunity--and according to FranchiseGrade.com, children's services franchising currently offers plenty of opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.

In general, the children's services sector includes franchises that cater to the educational and care needs of school-age children. Since 2010, children's services franchising has grown by 12.1 percent.

In a study of 106 children's services franchises, FranchiseGrade.com identified the top 10 franchise opportunities in 2014. The ranking was based on turnover rates, system outlet growth, length of agreements, territory rights, number of lawsuits, financial performance and other investment variables.

FranchiseGrade.com's list of the top 10 children's services franchises includes:

  1. Primrose Schools
  2. Goddard School
  3. Happy Feet Legends
  4. TSS Photography
  5. Learning Experience Childcare
  6. Kid to Kid
  7. School of Rock
  8. Eye Level Learning Center
  9. Creative World School
  10. Guard-A-Kid

Every franchise opportunity is different, so it's important for franchisees to consider a range of factors when evaluating franchise opportunities. Likewise, FranchiseGrade.com points out that even though its Franchise Performance Index is an important tool for entrepreneurs interested in children's services franchising, there is no substitute for a thorough and rigorous due diligence process.

"Prospective franchisees should always conduct their own due diligence to ensure a particular investment is right for them. Our Franchise Performance Index is an excellent starting point in their research to find those higher quality franchise investments," said Jeff Lefler, founder and CEO at FranchiseGrade.com.
