In a recent statement, a leading airline has announced that it will be partnering with a small business counseling organization in order to help entrepreneurs in need of assistance.

SCORE announced that it would be teaming up with American Airlines as the two companies put their resources together in order to make it easier for small businesses to increase profits and get more done than ever before. Businesses can take advantage of AA's sponsorship of SCORE's small business education tools and its its eGuide, an opportunity identifying website.

"SCORE appreciates American Airlines' support in helping provide small businesses with valuable online business resources that offer real-world application," said SCORE CEO Ken Yancey. "These business resources and the future eGuide will help serve the needs of small business owners who seek to better understand technology, marketing and business growth issues."

American Airlines made news for small business after it was one of the sponsors of a local award ceremony in Tennessee. The company helped support the 2010 Annual Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship Awards.
