Definition of Cash Flow

Cash flow is the movement of money into and out of your business.

In practice, it is the difference between a business�s cash receipts and its cash payments over a specific period of time. Business owners can have strong revenues and still run into cash flow problems. This is a very typical problem for growing businesses.
